Hello! We are very excited to open up Tailor Made Shop to all sorts of crafty/artsy/sewing workshops and events! Before you register for a class, workshop, or event, please read our policies. When you register for a workshop or event, you agree to all of our event & workshop policies as outlined below!
If a class or workshop does not meet the minimum enrollment requirement, we reserve the right to cancel the workshop or class. Enrolled students will be notify at least 72 hours before the start of the class and receive full credit of the value of the cancelled class to use towards a future class/event. Tailor Made Shop is not responsible for travel and/or lodging expenses incurred as a result of the class/workshop/event cancellation.
Registration
Advance registration is required for all events and workshops. We do not allow walk-ins.
Food & Allergies
Tailor Made Shop provides snacks and beverages for shorter workshops and events. For events of longer duration, attendees have the option of ordering food or picking up food from nearby restaurants and eateries.
It is important that we get advance notice of possible food allergies or dietary restrictions so we can best accommodate them!
Class Project Completion
We cannot guarantee that an attendee will finish his or her project by the end of the scheduled workshop/class.
Location
All of our workshops and events are held at our studio located in Sunset Park Brooklyn. We are located at 169 54th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11220. We are right in between Industry City and the Brooklyn Army Terminal!
The closest subway station is the 53rd Street Station on the R or N line.
Parking is rarely difficult on the weekends and during evenings.
Attendance
Classes and events start on time. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to get settled!
Risk of Injury
Attendees acknowledge that attending a class/workshop/event at Tailor Made Shop involves certain risks. Classes/Workshops/events may involve the use of scissors, rotary cutters, needles & pins, electrical equipment, irons, and/or sewing machines and the use of these tools include risks that can lead to injury, harm, and/or damages. When you attend a workshop/class/event, you agree to release and hold Tailor Made Shop Inc, its instructors, and employees from any and all claims and liability related to any accident that may arise as a result of your participation in classes, workshops and/or events.
Lost or Damaged Property
Tailor Made Shop is not responsible for attendees' lost or damaged property.
Updates to Workshops & Events Policies
Tailor Made Shop reserves to right to update our class policies at anytime and without notice.
